Poplar Bluff Heroes is a dedicated group of friends and community members united by one mission:

To support the lifesaving work of St.Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Our journey began in 2009, when a small group of six friends came together with a simple but powerful idea—use our time, talents, and passion to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children battling life‑threatening illnesses.

What started as a modest effort has since grown into a committed team of about twelve volunteers, all working year‑round to champion a cause that continues to inspire us.
Every year, we set a bold goal: Raise at least $250,000 for St. Jude.
And every year, thanks to the generosity of our community and the dedication of our volunteers, we strive to meet and exceed that goal. To make this possible, we host two major fundraising events:

• St. Jude VIP Banquet – August
  An unforgettable evening of community, storytelling, giving, and hope—our flagship event and the heart of our annual fundraising efforts.
• Designer Handbag Bingo – November
  A high‑energy, crowd‑favorite fundraiser that blends fun, excitement, and purpose as guests play to win designer handbags while supporting St. Jude families.

Together, these events not only raise critical funds but also bring our community together around a cause that touches countless lives.
